Well I know I have missed a month of blogging but my computer has been giving me fits this month. I lost everything on my hard drive! Luckily I had a lot of my pictures saved on my Zune (that would've been awful if I lost all of my pics!) Anyways, now I have a great new laptop and now I'm not chained to the office on days when work is slow (like this whole weekend!) I love working holiday weekends - so little work and I get paid by the hour! (glad I'm an employee and not a contractor!) I've been watching movies, and cross stitching, and cleaning the house. I'm so blessed in so many ways....which brings me to the subject of this blog....THANKSGIVING! I have so very much to be thankful for that I don't even know where to begin: I thankful that I live close to my immediate family and my husband's immediate family plus a few other extended family. I'm thankful that my sister and best friend lives just down the street from me! We are practically inseparable anyways - God forbid we live miles apart! I'm also thankful that our dogs get along - they are so cute when they play together (and her dog has been known to not get along with many others). I'm very thankful for my husband and our first wonderful year of marriage. I'm thankful that God has provided for us time and time again this year! I'm thankful for growing closer to my cousins every year instead of growing farther apart! And so many other things......

I also made homemade bread, Pumpkin Ice Cream Pies, and my very first Turkey! I'm so please with how it turned out and everyone loved it! perfectly seasoned, juicy, yummy!
We love to invite anyone and everyone to our Thanksgiving feasts. The more the merrier! This year we had the usual - mom, dad, Kristi and her family, Me, Danny, and Rachel, aunt Jeri and uncle Jim. Out cousin Jeremy lives in Savannah - about 90 minute from here. His parents (aunt Kay and uncle Gail) and his brother Shane and girlfriend Angela were visiting, so they all came up for Thanksgiving dinner too. It was so good to see Shane; I can't remember the last time I saw him. And it was also great to meet his girlfriend, Angela, and Jeremy's girlfriend, Sheila. They all looked so happy, and I am so happy for them. It's always extra special to have extended family come to visit, because we never know when we will get to see them again. It was great talking to Shane about Hawaii - since Danny and I honeymooned there and he was stationed there. It's too bad that he will be in Kuwait again during our next cousin's reunion.
